“Apple is aware of reports that this issue may have been actively exploited against versions of iOS prior to iOS 16.6,” the company said on its security page.

“This update provides important bug fixes and security updates, and addresses an issue that might cause iPhone to run hotter than expected,” Apple’s release notes read.

- Continue touching ‘General’
- Select ‘Software Update’
- Check iOS 17.0.3
- Tap ‘Download and Install’.
